The order the works run in
What order post-renovation works should run in.
Book them out of order and you pay for the same work twice. This is the sequence we schedule a bundle in.
Step 1 · wet works and paint
Regrouting, resilicon, painting first.
Tile regrouting throws grout dust across the unit and resilicon leaves residue around the seals. Paint adds its own splatter and dust. Book the clean before any of this and you pay for the clean twice, so all three go first.
Step 2 · the clean
Post-renovation cleaning next.

Step 3 · air quality
Formaldehyde treatment last.
The treatment is applied after the carpentry is installed and after the clean, so it reaches bare board and fabric rather than a layer of dust. Usually booked into the same visit as the clean.

Which post-renovation services can I bundle into one visit?
Five: post-renovation cleaning, formaldehyde (VOC) treatment, painting, tile regrouting and resilicon. Most clients book two or three together — cleaning plus formaldehyde treatment, or painting plus regrouting.
They are quoted as one job with one fixed price, and the crew is mobilised once instead of three times.
What order should post-renovation works run in?
Wet works and paint first, then the clean, then the formaldehyde treatment.
- Tile regrouting and resilicon — these put grout dust and silicone residue back into the unit.
- Painting — book the clean before painting and you pay for the clean twice.
- Post-renovation cleaning — once no trade is coming back.
- Formaldehyde (VOC) treatment — after the carpentry is in and the surfaces are clean, so the treatment reaches bare material.
Can one crew do the cleaning, the painting and the regrouting?
Yes. The work is done by our own in-house crew, not by subcontractors we hand the job to. The company is NEA-licensed for cleaning and BCA-licensed for renovation works.
You deal with one quote, one schedule and one point of contact instead of three vendors who each blame the others.
Do I pay less if I book more than one post-renovation service?
You are quoted one fixed price for the whole bundle, and the crew mobilises once. There is no separate call-out charge per service and no price added at the door.

How long does a bundled post-renovation job take?
The cleaning itself runs 3 to 4 hours for a 3-room HDB flat or a 1 to 2 bedroom condominium, and 4 to 7 hours for a 4 or 5-room flat. Landed property needs a site assessment.
Painting, regrouting and resilicon are quoted per site, because the time depends on the area and the condition of the existing work.
When should I book, relative to my renovation handover?
After your contractor has finished all works and completed defect rectification, and before your furniture is delivered.
Book early in peak renovation periods — dates near a handover deadline go first.
Which post-renovation service do I actually need?
If the unit is finished and covered in fine cement dust, you need post-renovation cleaning.
If the new carpentry smells strongly or irritates your eyes, add formaldehyde (VOC) removal. If the walls need a coat, see painting services. If the grout lines or silicone seals have failed, see tile regrouting and resilicon.
